Cygnus

Cygnus, a 40ft aluminum trawler yacht, was completed in December 2003 at Theriault Shipyard in Meteghan NS. Powered by a John Deere 1750 hp engine, with a shafting and transmission package from Norway, Universal Marine Consultants carried out the Project Management of the new build on behalf of the US based owner from start until completion, providing expertise in the fields of hull, machinery and electrical surveying.,

The owner’s first trip was to take a six-month sabbatical from his daily endeavours and sail her up to the Davis Strait in Labrador and subsequently to Greenland.
